My fog light bulb is burned and i was wondering what you would suggest to replace it with? I know you'd great thing to say about Hella Micro DE, can i put the bulb inside my 94 oem fog light and still achieve the same brightness as the Hella Micro DE with round lenses? I mean would the Micro DE lose it's brighness without it's lenses?

How does Micro DE compare to Phillips Blue Vision H3, phillips Weather vision H3 and Hella yellowstar? What colour does each one of the fog light give off?

I have seen Micro DE bulb for sale, haven't have luck with the rest of the bulbs. Is Micro De bulb expensive compare to the other bulbs mention above?

Thanks.
The Hella Micro DE is a complete foglamp unit. It utilizes the H3 bulb for it's light source. It is not feasible to place the Micro DE inside of your current foglamp housing. If you mean to replace the OEM foglamps with the Micro DEs, feel free to do so, realizing that a set of these lamps will run you about $50 to $90 while a pair of replacement bulbs for your OEM lamps will cost no more than $30.

The Philips BlueVision series of bulbs puts out white light by utilizing a blueish tint on the glass that filters out the lower frequencies of light such as red, orange and yellow. The Philips WeatherVision series of bulbs puts out yellow/amber light by utilizing a di-chroic yellow tint on the glass that filters out the higher frequencies of light such as blue and violet. Hella Yellowstars are equivalent to the Philips WeatherVision. The Philips bulbs come only in 55W H3 while the Hellas come in 55W, 85W and 100w.
