well have i news for nissan/infiniti fanatics such as yourselves we (nissan) are going to have a little fun with the rest of the car manufacturers. When the new G comes out it will be on its own new platform which it self is cool enough for me, but nissan/infiniti doesnt stop there it will have a brand spankin new engine that will feature an inline six motor 2.9 liters of displacment,pretty cool huh, but once again it doesnt stop there there will be an optional twinturbo system for it. wanna hear more, its not going to have a manual or automatic transmition in that sense of the word, what it will have is a continuously going transmition with no gears. um like a boat engine sort of. hmm.... im not sure what to make of what you say. ive heard all over that the g ends. it will be replaced by the xvl as a is/ c lass/ 3 series competetor. the cvt tranny you speak of sounds accurate tho. there's a lot of info at http://www.freshalloy.com
