SC pulley removal help
I have a V1 SC and I will be changing the pulley. I believe it has the original pulley on it. It also looks to have a little dab of locktite red on it. I know I will need to use some heat to break the lock tite. Do I heat it up a bit and let it cool? How much do I heat it up? What do I use to hold the shaft while I turn the allen head bolt? Do I put a wrench on the fan/intake shaft bolt to hold it?
Thanks for any help!

Don't touch the fan!! It has nothing to do with removing the pulley. I had loctite on my bolts so I just got my wrench on the bolt and smacked the wrench with a hammer and it came right off.
What you want to do is 1st remove the SC, then remove the SC plate from the SC. Next get a C-Clamp or other simaler device and lock the pully into place. Now use your allen wrench on the Allen bolt which is located right behind the pulley. That bolt is in there really good so you are going to need a aprox. 2ft braker bar {or larger} to remove it, unless of course you are heman. Now that the allen bolt is out of the pulley you will have to pry the Pulley off{I used a small crobar}, but proceed with caution because there is a key on the out side of the pulley that holds it in place. So basicaly make sure you don't loose the key. After you do what I just said reverse the process to reinstall. BTW I should mention you need a breaker bar to remove all the Allen bolts because those suckers on on the real, real GOOD!
