My lease will be up soon, what to buy?

I have a 99 SE and lease is up May 2002. I might look at selling and getting a new lease. Not that I don't like the car, but I am one of those guys who like frequent changes.
I have read about the 2002 Altima V6, and the 6 speed 2002 Maxima. Also considering the Acura TL-S. I believe the current Maxima goes for about $26,000 US, and $36,000 Cdn??
Looking at nissannews.com I see for 2002 the Maxima have a lot of options. For example, leather, moonroof, BOSE, etc are all options. I am hoping that wouldn't drive up the final price of the car.
My criteria in search for next lease vehicle include:
- reliability
- track record
- performance
- price
- looks (this is where the Max is a bit behind, literally)
- resale value
- popularity (don't want my car to be everywhere)
What would you suggest?

If you're going to lease again, consider the Germans, like Passat, 325i, A4 among others. Maintenance and repairs can get a bit steep on these cars, but I know BMW and Audi have free maintenance programs, and any car would be under warranty for most of, if not all of the lease (assuming it's 3 years like your current one). All of your options have manual and auto transmission choices, so good luck. You're going to have a lot of fun test drives.
