can you tell me if there are recommended torque settings for the bolts on the sunroof? I know it looks like a no brainer, but in the heat and cold, I dont want it to crack because its over torqued (if thats even possible as I think the bolts have nothing to do with the glass, only the frame that holds the glass)

Much thanks!

btw, I'm looking for a 5th gen FSM (first edition for early 2Ks) if anyone wants to sell. I plan on ordering from the Tiddle site this week if I dont hear from anyone.

Thanks for looking...

I think these bolts fall under the "if you have to ask, you shouldnt be doing it" category BUT I've taken it back for an adjustment and two dealer acted like it was a HUGE deal requiring bipartisan congressional approval. the third was like "ya, it takes 5 mins". he did the adjustment, but not enough and the seal was getting pinched on the sunroof deflector holders. Rather than deal with them again, I decided to investigate. Jeez, it couldnt be easier!

Why do they make such a big deal about this stuff...

anyway, thanks again..
