Ok, I have a 01 MAF in my 02 5.5 gen. I think this one is going bad, getting the hesitation and according to butt dyno, feeling some loss of power. I bought it back in August from a local dealership's parts dept. I thought I read somewhere that parts from Nissan come with a 12 mo/ 12k mile warranty on the parts themselves. Is this true? and if so, what would I have to do to get this warrantied? BTW, I'm completely out of 36/36 warranty. Thanks.
Go back to the place you bought the part from. Take your receipt. Explain your situation, (Nevermind that you are out of your 3/36). From there, expect them to make it right if it is indeed bad, and if you are still under your 12/12 warranty period.
