I think you guys should custom make the chrome letter that says "S K Y L I N E". The letter should be in the same style font as the letter on the 99 Maxima and about the same size. But further apart like the 96 Maxima. This way, it will look sweet and not so lame as just having GT-R at the back. Just my 2 cents.

It's not a skyline. Even a SC Maxima is not a skyline. Why put skyline on it. I don't think anything about the skyline is similiar to a maxima. Why?

i think that all this badging, is about being associated with a very popular and awesome vehicle. for examle: honda-type r, nissan-gtr, toyota-?, oh well, it's about being related to and in the family. so i think its not a total front, if you can back it up with a little power adder. one guy at the track asked me how i got my car over from japan. that was a joke. lol.

 

Kinda off this topic but not at the same time:

Do you know what the v-spec in the Skyline model actually stands for? I was considering adding v-spec to my name of my car. Maybe Maxima R v-spec? or just Maxima v-spec? I wouldn't want to do it if it refers to something like variable valve timing or something like that.

I don't understand why you guys would want to put these gt or gtr badges on your car. It seems awful ricerish to me, a lot like those kids i see driving a civic type r or integra si or something similar. As far as i know, the maxima doesn't come in gt or gt-r, only the gxe, se, gle. Don't make your car live a lie... show people the power of the maxima, then they'll be impressed, cuz most people don't have much respect for people who rebadge like that.

Were exactly do any of u put your gt-r badges? I have mine in between were the 2 stock badges go but I dont like it there. I am thinking of putting it on the right side of the trunk right on top of the light. Any ideas were to put it?

It's a badge. How is that something bad to put on your car? If everybody does the same thing to there cars that will look plain. I want to be different so I will get whatever I choose. Plain shaved trunks dont look right especially if it has a shaved key hole.

Hey ease of the new guys. We all started somwhere. And buy the way I ordered GTR badges a week ago and I have the power to go with the badge. The new Z-28 will get a good look at the GTR badge on the rear of my car as I am walkinng off with out them.
