Between the 2 that you mention, the Ecsta 712s look pretty nice for the price. I didn't love the Nitto NT450s that I had, so I'm slightly biased.

My oreder Ecstas are sitting in the store waiting for me. 
I will have them install tomorrow or Friday.
I compared quiet a few tires: RE730, Michelin XGT H4, Energy MXV4, I decided on the Kuhmo based on price, and Maxima drivers' feedback.
