headlight question

Anyone know if its safe to install a headlight flasher(preferrably from Whelen) on a 3rd gen, or any other non-Crown Victoria? In case one wanted to have their headlights alternate and flash similar to an interceptor...

i got them in my car (police internship) but i put 1 in each corner light. and 1into the high beam driving light section of my depo e36 high beam sections of my headlights.
