I need to get my brake pads replaced and I dont feel like getting my pants pulled down over the price. How much do the pads alone cost? And then a price for the job. I got disc brakes on all 4 wheels. My girlfriends moms BF manages a shop and he quoted me at 210 for all 4 wheels. Is this a good price or should I try to put them on myself? He usually doesnt charge me labor and he said they do a bunch of other stuff too. Gimme some input- thanks

If you just want new pads you can do it yourself. Its really not a difficult job.

As for good prices, I like the porterfields that I just installed. Check out www.maximadriver.com and click on the 'Group Deals' section. They cost $118+shipping for all four corners.
