cat remove

any body cut there cats off what was the result as far as power and noise

No gain at all,most cars will loose power without it..

is it cause of the a/f ratio if so will a piggy back fix this

It will run rich.

Sound is slightly diffrent.

Get a test pipe / fast cat from CP. For those just incase scenarios when you need to pass emissions later on.

I'm running CP Y-pipe 2.5" exhaust w/out cat. it smells...just so you know.

running y-pipe w/test pipe. you cant feel it but track times show a small improvement. no smell problem here, just smells like it shoud...not clean

I don't think the added pollution and having to pay for an inspection ticket makes it worth 1-2 hp. Get something else that'll get you more hp and less headaches!!

I am using a test pipe, then for emissions pop my cat back on.

sadly, i would be willing to bet that you can pass emissions without the rear cat as long as the precats are still installed/working. obviously headers/test pipe wont pass. but really it might not fail by much. cars run real clean these days
