Rust help.

I am changing the ypipe on my car and i got the front screws off, go to the back and they are rusted so you cant see the threads on the stud. is there anything i can do to get the rust off? i sprayed it with pb blaster a bunch but hasnt seemed to have any affect.

Any suggestion will help, thanks.

Did you just spray it with PB Blaster, or did you spray it, then let it soak, spray, let soak, etc?

My car is from Pennsylvania (Darn that state and it's rust) and PB Blaster is my best friend! You should be able to get it off with enough patience

i continuously sprayed it and nothing happened. I decided im just going to take it to a muffler shop and have them chop and weld the WSP to the pipe currently on the car.

At the same time i might get a 2.5" catback so my nitrous can breath a little better... hehehe

Thanks for the advice.

Mine were rusted up bad to but I just sprayed PB the day before I went to work on it and they came off like butter ! Try using some heat to get them off.

Good luck

Sounds like what I'll have to be doing.
