Just though you guys would like see where your old VQ engines are finding there new homes. I personally think it's awesome, but I love the 240's. Actually I'm going in the morning to pick one up, it will be my 4th 240 purchase in the last year and a half. Too bad I keep selling them.

I might have to make a swap like this in the future. Enjoy!!

That's the first I've seen/heard of that swap. Now if the owner would make the car look good too.

yep, i think he's the first to put it in the 240. jclaw is prolly 2nd? i am going to do that one day. when i start my career job and when i find a way to have the engine fit without tearing thru the hood.

isn't there a fiberglass cowl hood for them? love the video that vq purrs. what has he got done to the engine? headers,dek,intake,flywheel,jwt 7200?? it doesn't look like there is room to SC it though...

Yeah, there are plenty of hoods out there to accomodate the swap. I'm not really sure why he choose to modify the original hood. I think it's an awesome swap. I think most people will still go with the Sr swap, but it is a good, cheaper alternative to the LS swap the others are doing.
