Alright, I got hit and run the past weekend and now I'm at a loss. There is a huge dent in my spanning across my rear passenger door.

The shop said I would have to replace the door. Is there any way I can make it less ugly myself? I thought about banging out the dent...but that would probably chip the paint/crack the door. Eh.

Try to find a replacement door in the same color at a local junkyard.
or search for a car being parted out in the forsale forums here.

I've fixed a door that was caved in before. it's easier to just replace it with a junkyard door.

even if the paint doesn't match perfectly, it's better than trying to push a dent out and creasing the metal.
