hwo do u do a burnout in an auto???

I got a 4th gen 1997 auto was wondering how to give it a burnout???

You can disagree all you want, but rollbacks are much more trannsmission freindly, go in reverse, slam in drive, trust me, it just 'feels' so much less harsh on the tranny than a nuetral drop, many will disagree with this I'm sure, I'm also sure I've done more burnouts than them.......

You need to know how to do a burnout in a manual? seriously? Bounce rev-limiter while dumping the clutch....... E-brake use is optional in auto and stick, but adds to the fun factor.

hmm I just stomp it and i do great burnouts, but if you want a nice smokey one, yank the e-brake and stomp the gas.

Yeah neutral drops in an auto feel sooo bad. I do them at work in cars that are going to whole sale to have some fun. lol i wouldnt do it on any of my cars on purpose though.

Lets put it this way. IF you cannot do a burnout in a maxima then your doing something wrong, in my frineds 2005 focus automatic. he can smoke them. Just pull the ebrake HARD, hold the brake, floor it, dont do this for long, revs should go up to about 2200rpm then let off the brake. If you cant do it that way, then neutral drops your only way...and if you keep doing those your tranny will probably drop.

why would you want to do that? its bad for trans. if you really have money just laying around here is the trick like the other peepz said in thread poor some water front of the tires and put it in neutral pull the hand brake rev your engine upto redline and put it in drive. you'll get the best burn out and in couple of days you'll feel it how it jerks everytime your trans shifts.
