Bought the indiglo gauge from Initial K. It's the digital controller one. Install was pretty much straightforward. I followed the instruction from Cheston's website. One thing that wasn't right was the use of double sided tape. I first put in on the tachometer and the needle got stuck. I didn't know what to do, so I removed the tape to see what happen. Poof! No more stuck needles. Anyway, here are a few pics. I need to get a better digicam. These pics kind of suck. Oh well, they give you some idea.

depends on where u stick it .

you'll need the thin 3m scotch-brand double sided tape to keep the middle section DOWN in prevention of it pushing it hitting the needle... or u can easily put the tape on the outer perimeter to keep the new indiglos taught and straight.

if u have a 99/98, no need for tape since there are screw holes...

i love mine indiglos.

Thin? How thin? The tape I used was thin, but not paper thin because it left a bulge. Anyway, it's holding up pretty good without any tape.

Btw, it looks better in person. My cheapo digicam doesn't do the indiglo gauges justice. If you wanting to get these gauges, I highly recommend them. Plus, it's very easy to install. Even an error prone guy like me did it with no problems.

Do they light up all the time, or just when your headlights are on? Also, did you disconnect the other dash lights that shine down on the gauges, or does it not have any? Just curious because I plan to get those if I ever get a 4gen. BTW, were you at the Palace last night. I saw a 95-96 with some Konigs on it, just thought it might have been yours.

Yes, that was me! When I came out, I saw a dark color 3rd gen. parked next to me. Was that your car? I thought to myself, "could that be Jeff's car?". I didn't gave much thought other than that because it seem I get a lot of 3rd/4th and sometimes 5th gen. Maxima parking next to me wherever I go. Btw, went to saw the advance screening of JP3. Good movie.

As far as the indiglo gauges, no they don't light up all the time. Only when I turn on my parking lights and/or headlights. I took out all, but one bulb. You need this one bulb for the mileage and trip meter.

Re: Re: Cumalot

That wasn't mine. I was with my friend in his POS Altima with no rear bumper. You and your girlfriend were getting into the car when we passed by. I'm not sure if you saw me or not. We went to see Legally Blonde. It wasn't bad, very easy on the eye if you know what I mean. It had loads of chicks chilling in thier underwear running all over the place. I give it 4 stars.

My girlfriend? I was by myself. Maybe some girl walked pass my car at the same time I was about to enter my car and you passed by. lol... I met up with my friends at the Palace, we all took our own cars, so I was alone. Oh, good thing that 3rd gen. Maxima wasn't yours. It didn't look very good, seem like whoever owns it didn't take care of it. No, I don't think I saw you because I don't remember an Altima passing by. Anyway, what color is your car and does it look stock on the outside?

Btw, American Pie 2 will kick ***!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Cumalot

Maybe some girl was walking by, I was kind of...not sober, so I can't really remember all the details. My 3gen looks 100% stock. Nothing has been done to it cosmetically. The only performance mod I have is just an intake. It is in almost perfect condition except for a couple of door dings and faded spoiler and door guards. It's that charcoal gray color with black uncracked leather. The interior is the best part. My friend with the CL-S (his name is Mark) and I raced again yesterday. He was behind me in the same lane at a red light. When it turned green, I layed into it, he hit it too and got over when he passed the car up. He pulled on side of me, waved, and cruised on by. My front bumper was at his rear bumper at 90 mph. Keep in mind that he started of behind me too. After the race, we were cruising at about 60 side by side. I heard him punch it, so I dropped to 3rd and hit it. We stayed dead even up through 70. He said that 60 was a bad speed for his auto and it wouldn't downshift. Oh well, I'm happy I kept up that well.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Cumalot

Make me want to meet up with you guys sooner, so we can some friendly racing and/or we can meet up to chat a bit.

Btw, from what people having been telling me, your friend should beat me. I don't know, I haven't raced a CL-S lately. Too bad my car isn't a 5spd. The difference is night and day. If my car was a 5spd, I'll be confident that I can take your friend. Oh well, we'll find out soon enough.

He will probably win, the numbers all point that way. It's all in fun though, we are into cool cars and having fun, not into being ****s. He is just interested in racing someone other than me and my other friends Altima. We are always hanging out during the week. I may give you a call if we get some free time this week, I still have your cell #.

I can take a few pics for you if you want. However, it's nothing special. They do look better the OEM white face gauges though.

That is good to hear. I would like to know a few people who I can race, have some fun, hang out, etc. Btw, I usually get off by 1pm on the weekdays from school. Give me a call if you guys have some free time. Since we all live in Westbank, it's easier for us.

How did you get that look (if you don't mind me asking)? Is that the factory gauges with different bulbs or what?

This thread was about my indiglo. Now, everyone is asking about your indiglo needles! j/k

Hm...I wonder how would those needles look with my indiglo gauges? Maybe get some hyperwhite needles to match the gauges better.
