Actually, the manual says premium is recommended but regular is also acceptable.

Use the highest grade possible. And I'm not talking about Arco gas. Chevron, Shell, Mobile, etc.....

WHAT IS RECOMMENDED:

VG30E: 89 or higher
VE30DE: 91 or higher
VQ30DE: 91 or higher

WHAT IS ALLOWABLE:

All engines: 87 or higher

Each owner's manual states that performance will be lower using 87 octane.

It's your engine and your decision.
