Good Morning all-
With the recent talk about having an Ohio meet I decided to go ahead and see what the demand is for a WEEKEND meet in Northern Ohio. I live south of Medina Ohio near the intersection of 224 and 71. If you continue north on 71 to the intersection of route 303 and 71 you will be in Brunswick, Ohio. From Cincinnati you are looking at a tad over three hours. From Indy you are looking at 4.5 hours. From Columbus you are looking at about 1hr and 30min.
I would like to hold the meet on a Sat. night as there is a car show there already that is home from cars from the 50's all the way up to the riced out Hondas and Maximas Anyway, I have gone before and hang out with a few of the Honda guys due to the fact that there are no Nissans there other than an occassional SE-R that shows.
When you get off of 71 at 303 you go left and there is a Kmart parking lot on your right that is huge and shared by other retail establishments. The local authorities are cool with it and allow loud stereos and the gathering as long as we don't race. I have never raced there and wouldn't suggest it as they monitor it closely.
So, let me know how many of you would be interested. I would like to do it in the next month before the car show that is there ends. I can't imagine the look on their face as 10 Maximas pull in!

I probably can make it if I'm not working. Never heard of this car show though. Is that an every weekend, or just once a year type deal?

Anyways, sound good to me.

 

To the best of my knwoledge it's at least twice a month. I know that there are times when they DON'T have it and I think they go to Norwalk to race on those days. I will try to attend one coming up and see what I can determine.

If not, you and I should at least meet up and compare cars.

Hey dude, I live in Westlake...I'm down with it (is this the 303 meet?). Ther aren't too many of us out here (annimax, sighmax, the KRAB...that's all I can think of).
Riced-out Hondas? In Cleveland?

 

That's exactly what this is...the "303 meet." I will be going this week to scope it out and then get back to you guys. I am in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina today and traveling home....13 hours I will go next week on Sat. and then take it from there.

I'm over in Westlake. Nice to see more and more members popping up in the area. We really should do this meet.
