Well, finially my Cattman Y-Pipe arrived in the mail today. Let me tell you, the thing is beautiful. I have an older Cattman JetHot pipe that has worked fine, but the quality of this far exceeds the JetHot version. I can't wait to install it to feel/hear the difference, and get rid of that damn exhaust leak!

damn

Everybody has been getting ypipes lately just like the NOS craze, i got mine on friday got installed today(saturday,21st) It is the BOMB, it honestly sounds like a Mustang GT now, it growls and pulls so hard, my friends vr6 gti who used to be able to pull easily ahead of me noticed the improvement when he couldn't gain at all. HUGE difference i dunno bout the differences of cattmans and stillens but cattmans product looks very good. still waiting for it to break in so i can get rid of the raspy noise it makes.

VQdriver

I never ran at the track but when i only had my intake i ran a 14.89 on Gtech at like 94mph or something, i don't trust it so i am saying with the ypipe and my 18's 14.7-14.8? i think that would sound about right, possibly quicker?

maximarider, i'm the guy that bought your stock wheels from you remember? with those same bfg's i ran a 15.1 at 91.6mph at atco raceway with just an intake. i hope to test and tune again very soon. this time i will lower my tire pressures and work on the 60 foot. it might be very possible to dip into the high 14's with your setup. email me if you want to talk about it further. right now, i am thinking about ordering a ypipe soon. don't know which one yet though. wanna race?

hey man

hey man i emailed u, how the rims holding up, i am goin to college in rhode island and i just bought some steelies with winter tires, guess i shouldn't have sold them in the first place but as long as i made another maxima owner happy. I wanna be able to runs 14.5's all motor before i quit modding.

My old ypipe looked like hell, the flex part was basically ripped apart, the threads were trashed, as well as my cv boots i noticed when it was on the lift, looked like somebody took a chainsaw to the damn boots, now i know where all that grease is coming from that spatters all over my rims. New cv boots tomorrow i hope!

if you have your main cat still there and get your smog tests done when the car is warmed up, you will pass the test. The pre-cats in the y-pipe are meant to cut down emissions when the car is cold. Once the car is warm, the main cat takes over....

I installed my Y-pipe last Wed.

Got pulled over for racing that Friday
Yea it's cool and sounds purty mean. I have a universal exhaust in the middle of my car instead of the stock in the rear and it has like a hollow sound to it. raced new M3 of course I lost but he got pulled over too. I thought he was gonna take us strait to Jail. I decided to go home when he let me off with a ticket.
