This timeslip shows my new best 1/4 mile time of 15.756.
My car is #231 on the left. It was my slowest R/T of the night. I had a 2.383 60' on my first run.
I was against a white '96 Maxima 5-speed with a cone filter, H&R/Koni, Borbet 17" wheels with 235/45, and FSTB. The Maxima belonged to his friend; the driver owns a '92 Maxima. He said his friend (the '96 owner) visits a lot of Maxima websites (he must be addicted like most of you), so I told him to visit Maxima.org. It was his first time racing, if I remember correctly.
I brake torqued, had 1/4 tank of gas, no spare, TCS off, 28 psi Front, 32 psi Rear.

Not bad.. drop your front tire pressure a little more and you may be able to improve on those 60 's

Wow, that's a close race! Reminded me when I went up against a Pontiac GTP, so close that when I crossed the line, I wasn't sure who won until I got the timeslip. I ran a 15.5 at 89mph.

I forgot to mention that the ambient temp. was about 72 deg. I wish I knew my intake air temp.

I'll try dropping the front tire pressure to 25psi next time. I may drop my 60' a little, but probably not below 2.3.

Yeah, it was very close. I ended up with lower E/T but he beat me on R/T. That same night I had R/T's of .579, .661, and .705. I could tell when he was shifting too. We were neck and neck but he pulled ahead over the last 100 yds.
