Duct Tape is the answer! ..
When I used to mess with the car stereo a lot, duct tape was always a perfect solution. If something rattled, you could tape it up, or put sound deadener on it .. Or both.
I strayed away and started spending the money on performance / cosmetic stuff for the car, and left the car stereo scene almost altogether. However, due to a mishap the other week, one sub blew (without me knowing), and then the other was damaged due to the fact I was trying to get the same amount of sound out of half the power.
The surround on it tore, and it left me turning the sound down do to belching noises coming out of the sub at 2/3rds volume. I took it out today, duct taped both sides, and It's easily 3dB louder again (that's 2x as loud) ..
Lets here it for duct tape ! (and cheap subwoofers, that you can fix with duct tape!)

Maybe four things since you can dismantle 3/4 of a Maxima with a 10mm socket.
