Maxima 4.3GENHybrid

Once upon a time I envisioned a 4th gen with a 3rdgen front end makover.
Scope: Headlights, grille, bumber, maybe corner light
IMO this might be appealing..to see how it looks and if its very attractive. If anyone wants to chop up a nice pic let me know and I could post more easier pics to blend them.

Off the top of my head the bumpers are very similar from the outside where they meet the fender and even the ridge line(other than cornerlight shape)

Some may say why , but I say why not. These are just ideas of bordem ... and my opinion.
4th

3rd

I think I may be on to something.

Please, oh please, do NOT put that fugly turd gen front on the front of the most awesomest gen EVARRR!!! It would just ruin the beauty that is the 4th gen. Now if you were to put the 4th gen front on the front of the turd gen, it would make the turd gen that much more appealing.

the lines of each redesign are completely different, the car would look like (and be) a frankenstein.

seriously, quasi-boxy doesn't mix with round and soft.

i think this has been done, at least the headlights anyway. but i think the thread got lost during one of the many site upgrades. it was a lot of work but it was very nice.

i was pondering the idea of a 130 front on a 97-99 max.

I would like to see the photoshop just to see how it looks.

It will be a little challenging for who ever takes on task, a lot of gaps to fill, and restructuring to do.

Now that I stare them both down, they are pretty similar the 4th gen just got most of its curves rounded off instead of being left square.

yeah.... whast so bad about 3rd gens !!

....IMO this would be something to see for any 3rd gen owner/lover.

and BTW the only thing i see complications is where the top of the head lights meet the hood, and the corner lights.

imho,

the third generation is the classiest, most elegant generation there is.

It's not boxy like the first and second gens,

and it's not bubbly and ridiculous like the 4th - 6th generations.

Now if only i can stick a VQ30DE-K engine in my '90 GXE and fully mod it, I could die (or drive... ya drive is definately the better choice) happy.

Is that chopped or a real job !
Very appealing to see these kinda things.
Just so many little things that nissan barely changes that would make these kinda things easier than other makes.
