I just ordered a supercharger from Avalon Racing. I don't think the BOV was included though. So, should I go with the Blitz BOV that is in most of the Stillen superchargers? How about the HKS SS BOV? I want the BOV to be LOUD, I want people to know I mean business!

blitz bov

doesnt that bov go back into the intake. and doesnt the nissan bov not loud? cause we have a maf. like cars with the maf dont make loud bov. unless u buy the apex'i super afc which then montiers ur bov so when it goes u have less chance of stalling. its not like atmosphere and like interlooped. thats what i thought. well help me if im wrong. take care b

Awesome deal Mike!!!

When is it expected to come in? Do you have some one lined up yet for the install?

My BOV is after the MAF sensor, but then again I have a 5th gen, and that caused me to stll, but I think the 4th gens don't have that problem.

Another great idea from Stillen.....

Tighten your BOV, Adam.

Since you guys recommend the Blitz, I guess that's what I'll go with.

As far as Dave's comment about the warranty going bye bye with the HKS BOV, I'm going get the 3.33 pulley, so the warranty goes bye bye anyway.

Matt, Avalon told me the supercharger should get to me by some time next week. I'm in no hurry to install it though. First, I have to wait for my darn VB from Don to get to me, whenever that may be. Then, the Sprint's, Koni's, RT CAT, and UPD will be next. I still have to get the gauge pods and the necessary gauges. As far as the install, my friend said he could do it, if I have the factory service manual in hand. He has a good knowledge of mechanics, but want to have the FSM as a backup. I don't know though, not that I don't trust my friend, but this won't be an easy install. I want it to be install right the first time. I wonder how much does Lightning Motorsports, for example charge for this kind of install? Hm...

I'd be glad to help you install the SC or any of the other stuff, but not for a few weeks. I got my own little project ahead of me. Perhaps the weekend of August 11th. We can keep your car locked up in my garage while were doing it. I can also help you with the FSM if you want to let your friend handle it. I'd would recomend that you stay with the basic pulley for a while to be sure all is well with the other parts on the kit. If you do the basic pulley you dont really need the VB or gauges. Then when you get the gauges and VB you can bump up to the 3.33

Also, If your going boost perhaps a straight pipe would be better then a RT Cat And if by UPD you mean an ECU upgrade I'd pass on that with the SC, IMHO it aint worth the money and could cause problems, the SC will be enough. And if it aint, then slap on a 3.25

Are you getting the 2 stage Blitz BOV (newer model) or the single stage (older model)? I heard that the single stage sometimes gets a stuck spring. Anyways, I've gone with the 2 stage for my setup.
If I may ask, how much did Avalon sell the SC kit to you? I got mine directly from Stillen.

Mr. Da Fay Gay, please clear your PM box because I can't respond to you.

Well, like I said, I'm not in a hurry. So, I can wait until you finish with your project. As far as the 3.33 pulley, vb, and gauges, I figure I might as well do them all now. Oh, I meant the UDP, underdrive pulley. I think I can safely run with the 3.33 pulley if I get the vb. Well, the RT Cat I already ordered and it's on its way here. So, too late for that.

well I have done what I do best and I have screwed all I can and it is still to much air for the BOV, So I took it off and went with the stock BOV, unless I relocate the BOV.

You do not want to use the UDP with the SC... it'll underdrive and you won't be boosting at a normal PSI.

I'll be answering you after this.

No where else to relocate it to... can't move it before the MAF because that's where the filter is. D'oh!

Unless you go with 4th gen piping, but you'll have to redo the MAF tube holes on the piping.

You sure? Doh! It's on its way here already. Great...oh well, guess there'll be a UDP for sale soon.

The recirculation recirculates the air (comes with the kit, but you should know because you have the kit right?). The blow off valve blows off air and goes ppppsssssshhhhhh ($200 for the Blitz).

Ive been charged for the kit...But avalon is waiting for a remount bracket to be made by stillen before they send it...since i was charged I felt the right to claim it and put it in my sig. I know what a bov is. So the recirculations valve just don't go ppshh is that the only diff it still blows out execive air to stop compresser surge apon releasing the gas right.

Ahhh... I see. Yeah, the recirc valve just routes the boosted air back into the intake piping.

Brackets

The brackets are done and the S/C are in final assemby ready to ship. i have some already in transit.

Yes - you should claim the S/C as it is yours ( per the deposit on it )and the next one that comes in goes right out to you. Stillen has completed the brackets and the final touches on the kits.

Paul, did you get my email? Since the kit doesn't come with the BOV, I wonder do you carry the Blitz BOV?

If Paul doesn't carry the Blitz BOV, where can I get it? Also, the one I need to get is the universal BOV right?

Can you add the Blitz BOV along with the order? This is the newer Blitz Super Sound BOV right?

Paul, when do you expect my s/c to be in my postion? By Monday? This week still? I thought that i'd have it by now and had planned to drop the car off with the s/c and other many parts monday night to have them start on it tuesday morning. I too would like to know the price on the blitz bov is it easy to swap out once the recericlating valve is in? Thanks for backing me up on that i did/do have the s/c.
Thanks
