Actually the Stillen rotors Gotrice is selling are Brembo rotors. Stillen buys the Brembo blanks, drills holes in them, chamfers the edges, covers them with a rust resistant coating, and sells them as Stillen rotors.

If you want Brembo blanks, you can get them from Porterfield (www.racebrakes.com). I just had Brembo blanks and Porterfield pads installed, and man are my brakes strong now. However, these RS4 pads are kind of odd in that they are very strong, but require a bit more pedal effort to stop smoothly.

i just installed the R4S pads and they are kind of funny in feel. when i'm going at a moderate speed, they grip pretty fast. when i'm gonig kind of slow (like backing up) i have to apply some pressure to stop.

To add to Eric's words, all this info is instantly available in the 4th Generation Maxima forum, under a sticky post titled "4th Gen Maintenance Items"......

hmm

I didnt want the stillen ones because I'm not a fan of that ugly copper color. Although it does serve a purpose heh. But the Brembo ones I found are cross drilled and slotted and I think they look tight.

They aren't 'real' Brembos in a sense that Brembo does not do the drilling themselves. A company takes the blank and does their own design and drilling. I doubt you'd run into any problems but you never know.

Plus, yours don't look to have any cadmium plated, so they'll probably rust on the hub. That's why they're less. I could be wrong, though, but it doesn't to have the same luster that cadmium plating gives it.
