I saw one Maxima racer down there and lot of people come
I heard it is full of cops now but..
anyone here used to go there or still does?

 

it was pretty lame when I went...one race and the cops crashed it and I said "**** it I'm going home!" but there were some pretty quick turbo civics running around and plenty of domestics there too even an off duty PG cop was there racing his motorcycle!(hmmm..what would they do if they caught him? ) check the DC forum, I know a couple guys in DC Maxclub that go down there every now and then.---> http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?threadid=44740

 

He went there after he got the ypipe put on thinking he was all fast and stuff. He lined up with a civic or something to race him and then when the race was just about to begin people yelled "COPS!!" and everybody scattered.
He said that with his 5th gen, he could beat about 60% of the cars there. There are lots of slow accords and civics out there.

 

The increase in cops is probably because the Washington Post ran an article about it a few months back
