Also ... can s/o explain to me how often they meet & where I can find this information so I don't have to ask all the time?

The FOMC is scheduled to meet again on August 21st (rate cuts anticipated according to Greenspan). Here's a good website to track.....

Everything you could possibly want to know! I also use CNNfn.com pretty frequently....
