Okay, I know that I had a bad run at Maxus, but what was the SLOWEST 1/4?

My absolute worse was a 17.15@81 with my full size spare and a 50 lb toolbox in the trunk, the aftermarket cone, colder plugs and no brake torquing. I heard at least one 17.4 floating around. Now everyone 'fess up, what was your WORST time?

At least I showed. You stayed home and looked at your car all weekend. Afraid it wouldn't make it down to Maxus? Or you just didn't want to end up running me and finding out that my car is actually faster than your car?

I know a whole page and not one other Maxus 1/4 runner posted yet. I think I'll delete it and then try again.

My first run ever was a 14.9.

I went ahead and followed that up with a 17.4 @ 84mph on my second run. I though I could give it more gas off the line and just sat there spinning. I think I spun the tires for the first 300ft or so. I had like a 11.4 1/8th time. It wasn't pretty.

Other than that my worst was a 15.4 when I missed 3rd gear.

16.4

Hmmm...severly clogged K&N, half tank of gas, 100lb stereo, high humidity (probably cancelled out by 170' track elevation), passenger riding along.

Dude, you would have had a good time up there. You could have run with me.
However, I did a lot of comparisions up there with my auto.

I ran against 5 speed 4th Gens, an Acura CL-Type S, a damn modded Neon(I slepted bigtime at the line), 5th Gen autos and 5 speeds. Cheston says my times were good for a stock auto(on a damn uphill, I'll never live it down) but I hung tight with everyone.

That, as requested, was my worst time. My best was the 16.08 listed in my sig. I should do much better next time without the extra weight in the car and a little more experience under my belt.

I ran next to a modded Neon, too. He was running 14.0@100 most of the night. The guy designed and built his own turbo motor after his original exploded.

My worst run was 16.9 @ 82.4 mph r/t 1.2(pictured in sig) --dirty K&N, spare tire, 80+ pounds of amps and stuff, and I just had 3 hot dogs.

Excuse: I spun through first & shifting into 2nd. NOS kicking in didnt help me on that run.

wasn't that RIGHT after the 4 hour drive too?
