it's a forkshaped tool

with 2 flat fingers. You slip it under the panel, with the plastic grommet thatholds the panel on between the fingers and pry it up. Crtuchfeild sells them for like $2.50.

You don't need the tool >>>>>>

I just installed mine today and all I did was use my fingers to pry it off, it DID NOT do any damage and changing it all out to the new ones, took less than 5 minutes for all 4. I also waxed the area underneath before putting the new ones on. They are very easy to POP off, try it yourself.

I concur, you can easily pull them off with your hands. Pick one side and pull.

I was worried that I would spend hours getting the old ones off, took me 2 minutes.

One thing that I would recomend is that you pull the protective cover left to right and pull slowly. You will need a small picking tool to get some of the covering out. A surgical pick would do fine.
