Hi everyone,
Iv'e been so busy moving in vegas, I haven't had time to post.
The car was flatbedded down to JWT yesterday. It had been at Climax Racing where they installed a Spearco air to water aftercooler. The mass air sensor was relocated into the fenderwell right after the K&N filter and just before the super charger. They installed the heat exchanger under the car in thr front and John who is the main mechanic told me he used the biggest unit possible. The SC had been modified at Stillen where they swapped out the internals and used the turbine from the mustang SC. This increased the boost to 10 lbs and the power will be available earlier in the power band. Also, previously we installed the Aquamist water injection system which will work in tandem with the aftercooler to keep the intake charge and combustion chamber cool and hopefully eliminate any detonation. I haven't seen the car for 3 months but Bill from Climax Racing drove it from LA to Irvine and he said its a real sleeper, it was very fast and drove beautifully. I talked to Jim today and he will retune the car and adjust the computer within the next 2 weeks. I am flying into San Diego on 8/16 to pick up the car. Anyone is welcome to meet me at JWT on the 16th to meet up and check out my car.
