I just got though installing the brake kit, the installation seems to have gone though with no problem, the calipers clear by literally the thickness of a business card. The problem I have now is that when I test drive it the pads are grinding on the rotors. I haven't gone over 20 MPH or driven more than a mile. I thought maybe it has to be broken in, kind of smooth out the rotors kind of thing, but I would say probably thats not it. Is there anything I may have installed wrong that you could think of that might cause this problem? Thanks

Hey dude,
what kind of rims do you have?
Can you post size and off set please.

Can't really help you w/ the grinding part.
But I can tell you that it is not a break-in thing!

I'll assume that they aren't 'grinding' on your wheel spokes as that would show up on your calipers... If you used shims/washers and notice that there is some contact with the spokes, you could remove one washer to give you the extra 1mm or so clearance. If the calipers haven't made contact already, you don't need to worry as these calipers are fixed (don't move with pad wear) unlike the factory ones. Your brake noise is probably the pads breaking in with the rotor surface... I had some of that.

I'm assuming you have the Polymatrix D pads too. I had some 'brake noise' mostly in the form of some squealing when the car came almost to a complete stop (even using the brake 'goop' for antisquealing. It's been several months now and the squealing has stopped, I'm happy to report.

You'll also notice a 'deeper' pedal feel... and also the pressure needed on the brake pedal is greatly reduced. You will get use to that.

If you need further help... email me or something...
