i know that a turbocharger is better (i think =X), something about how theirs no loss of power using one, where the supercharger re-uses resources or something, losing a small amount of power...

anyone have a clear answer?

i couldnt find any good search words =\

A turbo Charger is exaust driven.
A Super Charger is belt Driven.
Turbo Charges seem to give a higher peak HP but unlike a SC they have to spool up first. Both have there pros and cons, I personaly like SC's better.

es, Turbo's need to "charge up" before they really start forcing air into the engine, where as a supercharer get's it power from the drive belts, therefore it is ready from the start. You will hear the expression "turbo lag" from time to time. Or you can have twin turbos where a small and a large turbo work together, the small one builds up quicker and then feeds the larger one, reducing the "lag time." Something like that. Basically what emax said.
