People,

Go out and buy a disposable camera to leave in your car just in case of an accident. If an accident should occur, try to keep your cool and don't argue with the other person(s). Remember to get the camera out and snap like crazy from different angles of the scene. MAKE SURE YOU GET A PICTURE OF THE OTHER CARS LICENSE PLATE IF YOU FEEL THEY WERE THE CAUSE. This will be your evidence and believe me it works. It will save you and the insurance company time in trying to find who is at fault.

I hear of so many people leaving the seen of accidents that they have caused and it's not fair. With all of the confusion, people always forget to get the plate number.

Please remember this people.

Be Safe.

I like this idea, problem is 1. I'm unemploy, don't have a camera 2. never had an accident in my life before (whole family) they'll think this is BS, like either its yr fault or the others, they don't really know/care because they have not experienced it and they "think" they're very save drivers.
3. how can I convince my parents to give me $10 adn buy a disposable camera?
4. or maybe you guys can buy me one

.. way to hang in there and keeping the right attitude about things man..

About the camera, that is definately a good idea.. My good buddy had an accident a few months ago with some guy cutting in front of him without signaling and slamming his brakes trying to drop speed so he can make an illegal turn.. He got blamed for it because first, he hit him in the rear, 2nd, after he rear ended him the guy started the car back up and moved it to the side of the road, so when the police got there the ****ing guy changed his story around a bit... As my friend says if the car was in the same position it would be a lot easier to distinguish who is to blame because of the way his car would be positioned sideways.. They also didn't listen to my friend much since he is the "younger" and more dangerous driver. (supposedly) Car is at total loss and he got 120$ from his insurance premium for that month, that was all he got out of the 8k he paid for the car months earlier. So yeah, the camera would help most def... I had a camera in my max at all times when I still had the car, when I get my next max, nothing will change

Tell your parents to do the same thing. I am sure you can get $10 buck for a camera.

Wareagle: I keep it out of direct sunlight. I keep one in the center console and in the glove box. They should be fine. Test them every once in a while also.

NYCe, people will lie to win the battle. Thank God for my digital camera when I had my accident.

Synki, more like a bubble suit from that dumb movie Bubble Boy.

I think it is a good idea too. I have an SLR under my seat and was able to capture a few nice pictures of a deer and its two little ones the other day. It is just nice to have a camera handy, PERIOD! Maybe you are chilling with some friends and you want to get some pictures of them acting stupid...you know the line..."If only I had my camera with me."

Thanks Mark. I wanted to post this because my buddie got into an accident when we used to drive Limos. I showed up at the accident scene and he had a camera in his bag and had me take pictures of the whole scene. I drunk driver plowed into his van while he was in a rotory.

Well, I guess I would have to bow to the whistling nose especially if something came flying towards me.
