Problems with my rims...HELP

I really hate jealous and immature ****ers

Anyway, someone scratched one of my rims today it didnt compromise the rim just the finish....it looks alot like someone dabbed it lightly with a crayola black magic marker...anyone have any ideas?

secondly, another guy spit GUM into my wheel and its spread out because of the spinning, i got the majority of it off but its the little stuff left thats giving me a hard time....

HELP!!

Try a little gum remover, the kind that freezes the gum and it comes right off. Chrome polish should get that other stuff off! That is why my license plates says IH8H8RS

I've had good luck removing gum with WD-40. As for the black magic marker looking thing, I've actually used just a SMALL bit of turpentine, followed by a good wash and wax. Just takes the teeniest bit of clear coat off if you do it right. Doesn't always work though...try a small bit first.

Peanut butter also works well for removing gum.

It usually works well w/ crackers and with bread and jelly. I even heard of w/ bread and bananas. But pb and rim. Seems kinda heavy on the stomach

Oh yeah...just wouldn't hurt to put a coat of wax on when you're done. It also removes the double sided tape that they use to attach the weights to the inside of the rim. You know the stuff - when you get your wheels balanced and they rip off the old weights and leave that nasty tape blob, which always seems to be right in plain view, not hidden behind a spoke...
