Color did matter, although I felt there are no ugly 97-99 colors. I cared more about interior color, I got tan which isn't what I wanted but I think I'll adjust.

New, as in 5th gen? If yeah, then Superblack, Arctic white, or Grey Lustre... If I had a chance to get a new 4th gen, I'd get a red SE-L, Silver SE-L, Superblack or White.

but, if it's what I think then, from black to neptune blue or some exotic rare color..

right now i have blue and i like it, if i were to buy a new one i would get either black or darker blue again, i like that midnight blue color the 4th generation comes in.

I want the benz clk blue,is 300 blue,audi/vw blue,one of those they look very close to the same.

I wanted superblack with black leather and thats what I got Although if I could do a custom color it would probably be a metallic red or a BMW silver.

Bought Used, but it was the one i wanted, and at a %$#@%$ great price (read my sig)

I really wish my car was Superblack or the Pearly white they discontinued with the 3rd gen. I think that color is the best I've ever seen on a Max. I have Black Emerald now.

I wanted super black, but I got the black emerald. I am going to be getting it repainted someday when I have more funds...some sort of silver color.

It's not easy to find a VE 5-speed with low miles (64K-great price)

Pearl White hides dirt quite well, I'm happy.

Bought my new in '96, Superblack. Initially, I wanted a blue one, Starfire Blue, I think. I couldn't wait, so I got Superblack. I probably will get the whole car repainted Superblack in the future. Nothing like a Superblack car that has just been washed and waxed. Beautiful!
