hey guys, I'm in the process of installing new Koni's on mycar but the my FRONT STRUT CASINGS are extremely rusty, do you guys know anything that I can get the rust out with, and I mean some sort of a liquidy solution that I can pour on it and remove the rust, sandpaper isn't too good because it can't get into the tight spots

Wire brush. You'll probably want to re-paint them once you get ALL the rust off, so it wont come back.

 

wire brush won't get into every little place, that's why I'm looking for some liquid Rust Off

Maybe you could try some CLR..

Calcium Lime Rust remover...that and a wire brush might work.

 

I think the stuff is called naval jelly or something like that. My brother used it on the entire underside of his jeep. You just put it on and it eats the rust. Wipe it off after a while and you have fresh metal. Good luck.
