Probably starting something here but wtf...
I've been around the board for two years now and I wish you guys would take the pics off your signature. First, it's bandwidth. I'm not interested in seeing the damned sig and/or reply 50 times in one thread. Second, it's a dead giveaway at work. People walk by and see a sig like Vic's and you could get in some trouble. And winnie the poo...come on guys. It's a bit rediculous. Post your web site link and let it be.

 

well, we can always go to the "you shouldn't be looking at this any ways from work" bit. But really, it's their right to... It's not rediculous... honestly i think your request is more rediculous. Please understand I am not attacking you, but simplying pointing out the fact that well, they are frankly free to do what they way.

Valid point shingman.. why ***** about getting caught? If your worried about getting caught you shouldn't be doing it in the first place right?... .. like Shing I'm not attacking you (check out the HUGE sig pic just for you ..) we had a big flame war about this awhile back.. lets not ressurect it... just know that it was/is an option that most people on this BBS wanted and use just like the search function its to be used at ones discretion.. if you really don't like the images you can set your browser not to display them

Well, if you have a cable modem or better, it shouldn't be a bandwidth issue. These pages download pretty fast. But with dial up. Fuggeddaboutit! BTW, I like pics in the sig.

I like sig pics too, but to an extent. My general practice is to include my sig the first time I post in each thread, but not thereafter. And I will say that sometimes it's a pain to load and read the page when there are so many big pictures. Most times people's sigs take up more space than their posts. It would be nice to at least keep the pics small, something like my size and under 25K file size, IMHO.
