Tony got My Ypipe in. car is starting to sound like yours a bit, but its not that loud. U got the SUPER PONTIAC GRAN PRIX SOUND, I just have a Baby Sound. U get the Catt out and put a streight pipe in yet or still working on that?

 

Still working on the striaght pipe. I have emission testing in March. I'm debting wither I should do it now or after emission. I might try go through emission with no cat, but I'm afriad the emission guy is going to freak out.

I had the same problem, I put my cat back on for one day and went to the inspection station. It wasnt a big deal, 4 bolts and hello power!!! You gotta put it on, its a big improvment!!!

 

Freaking out may be an understatement. don't know about DC but over here in NC they jack the car in the air and go under it and see if there's anything leaking. NO CAT NO PASS. In Florida they put a little mirror under the car to check and see if U have a Cat. 4 bolts and U R set.

The state inspects the cars in Miami. There are only 3 places that I know of. they make U park your car on rollers, (kinda like a dyno machine) stick the thing in the muffler and make U drive in 1st gear. and then theh have a small stick with a mirror on it and they put it under the car and check to see if U have a cat. now this is in Miami so I don't know where U live in florida so I'm not sure about other cities.

 

It must be a county thing then. I live in Cape Coral, Lee county and we have none of that crap. Thanks for info.
