I am one of those unfortunate people who only has a 1/8 miles track around me. Best time was as follows

this was my first run at the track ever
reaction: .785
60 ft: 2.514
E.T.: 10.151

this was like the 2nd or 3rd run
best reaction time

reaction: .204
60 ft: 2.384
E.T.: 10.460

best 60 ft

reaction: .265
60 ft 2.332
E.T.10.424

My girlfriends dad ran a
reaction: 1.009
and a 2.321 60ft
10.033 E.T.
his 2nd run bad et but look

a reaction of .070!!!!
with a 60ft of 2.952
10.805 E.T.

My girlfriend for her first time really racing the car,

reaction .533
60 ft 2.489
E.T. 10.516

2nd time was

reaction of .494
60ft 2.479
E.T of 10.660

All in all I had a great time at the track I was very suprized at my times considering a type R integra ran 10.5+
Celica GTS with some goodies ran 10.6+, the only cars that beat me were the 585HP Supra TT that I beat off the line by about 2 car lengths, yes I have this on video, and a couple of built civics with big turbos on them. Just wondering what everyone else runs. Sorry this was so long.

your track might suck

I ran a 10.08 with nothing on my car but my JWT intake, I and I have an auto. What were the conditions at the track, and elevation? You are in Tennessee right?, what track did you run at?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1/8-MILE TO 1/4-MILE CONVERSION TABLE

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The following table can be used to estimate what your car would run in the quarter-mile based on your 1/8-mile elapsed time. This table is useful for those of you who run on an 1/8-mile track and would like to know what this time equates to in the 1/4-mile. NOTE: Please keep in mind that this table is only an estimate of what your 1/4-mile time would be. Different cars with different modifications, such as different rear end gears, will react differently. Your car may be a little quicker than this table shows, or a little slower. Again, this table is not exact, but simply a tool for estimating.

Well, keep in mind that TT Z's are known to be hard cars to drag. They aren't really designed for the strip like a Supra is.

What was the weather like? What kind of elevation are you at?

don't know the elevation but it had rained before I got there, everything was dry but it was damp and humid outside, not to mention my clutch is a little worn, getting a new one at NOPI though, I mean that supra was running high 8s all night long, and every car that was just like intake and exhaust was slow than I was

Yeah, if it was really humid that will kill your times.

you gotta think a brand new integra type-R which is 6.5 to sixty stock, was running 10.5+ so I guess it was due to the humidity, but I will probably be going next week and hopefully it won't be as bad, but I got into a comercial, a friend on my was filming his conmercial at the track, and I think I should be in it

In cooler and drier air (60s, 50% humidity), I'm consistently in the 9.4s@75mph which gets me 14.7s-14.8s@94.

In hot and humid weather (80s, 80+% humidity), I'm in the 9.6s@74mph which gets me 14.9s-15.0s@93.

The difference between running a 9.4 and 10.4 in the 1/8th is very significant. Your 60 foots are a little on the slow side (can be improved), but your 5 speed really seems to be suffering even it was hot and humid out. With your mods you should easily be in the 9.8-9.9 range. Running a 10.4 in the 1/8th would equal a high 15 in 1/4mile. Your driving needs to improve and it will take quite a few passes to figure out what works best. Do you have a heavy stereo or heavy wheels that could be slowing you down?

I think they were bsing you about the 585hp Supra because that is very rare to get that kinid of power out one. Running higher 8s in the 1/8th would equal higher 12s in the 1/4 which is about right with hot and humid weather. In cooler and drier weather, the TT would be in the mid 12s atleast.

I agree with Dave, a combination of the weather and inexperience is why people's times were slow that day, which means there is much room for improvement. For comparison purposes, I ran a best time of 16.20@85.06 in my 95 civic ex when it was stock and on 17" heavy wheels. My 1/8th time was a 10.4. These times were in high heat, high humidity conditions. So if an integra type R was running 10.5s, then conditions were very poor and the driver was inexperienced. Don't sweat it, your times will improve with more practice.

Your times will only get better.

There are many factors that will play on your times.

That has already been covered.

1/8: 9.327@77.32
1/4: 14.414@96.49

I have run at brainerd drag strip in chattanooga. There is one in crossville also that I might venture to right down the road, but the elevation there is really high, so I am sure the times suck.
