Can anyone recommend a product that will remove absolutely everything but the glass from a window?? After I clean my Maxima I can read the grease pen in the water formations, showing the sticker price on my passenger window!

Clean Windows..

About 20 min. ago I cleaned my car at the local car wash...
I used windex and paper towels for windows...it looks good.
I used some other products before but they left some residue.
So I too suggest using Windex and newspaper. I heard the Times works the best...j/k

Definitely Glass-Plus and newspapers with shop towels to buff dry.

Also, you may want to do a search of the forums for "windshield" and "cleaner" to find more suggestions that have been posted in the past.

Window cleaner

Try "Mister Muscle" liquid. Exellent results with usual fabric. Also not harmful for rubber and paint.
Good luck,

Sparkle

Sparkle is the purple stuff it works great with newspaper. I think it's interesting that those cleaners that are "made for automotive glass" are some of the worst ones I've tried.

Re: newspaper?

First, please watch the language and trying to get around the censoring feature.

Second, the newspaper is abrasive enough to get most of the scoze off of the windshield. No, the print doesn't come off like you'd think it would. Heck, if you can get it, just get some extra blank newspaper from your local press if you feel uneasy about wiping the windows with it. However, most of us here have tried it with doubt, and have ended up swearing by it.

newspaper

I think the soy in newspaper does something. Also, it's fibers and that's supposed to help scrub stuff off.
I use the 1/2 water 1/2 alcohol mix for interior windows, but I've never tried it for exterior. I'll do that next time.

Nope, I've thought about becoming a distributor but too much hassle and not enough profit. But the window cleaner is great, and it also doubles as a minty breath freshener (warning, do not try this)!

Why don't you use the sandpaper to clean your dirty little *** to clean up what the newspaper left behind.

Jambo, I say kick this loser out.

No matter what liquid cleaner I use, the results are best when I wipe it with newspapers, rather than paper towels.
