here is the information conerning our scheduled date:

Nov 5, Sun.
IMPORT SURVIVAL SERIES V. 3rd Annual High Tech Import vs. U.S. Muscle. Detroit Iron vs. Import Only. No Test & Tune. No Comp eliminator. No Motorcycles. Gates open 9:00 am, Eliminations 2:00 pm. 1/8 Mile Open.

Its a good time for anyone who's never been there. Tons of racing goin on and lots of nice cars in the parking lot...

A good time was had by everyone who went last time..

I'm hoping to see a lot more maxima's this time.. after the last meet a lot of people who didn't come showed interest in it.. here's your chance.. its prolly the last meet at etown this year...

There is no show on this day just people draggin...
I encourage everyone to show up ...
To answer a few Question..
YES.. there will be a premeet.. same place.. time to be determined
NO.. you don't have to drag race.. ( i'm not .. sorry doug)
YES ..there is food there
YES.. its costs money.. $12 for spectator..$25 to race
NO.. Bikini contest.. doh !
YES.. you can rent helmets there.. $3 .. but they only have a few
YES.. they have race fuel there
and finally
YES.. for some reason it feels like once you enter etown the temp drops to -72 degrees so bring sumtin just incase.. Me and supa lao, and chris froze our @sses off last time ..

BTW: There's rumor goin around that a 2001 AE Maxima black with black leather interior / 5-spd
is gonna be there .. wonder who that could be ?

Lots of people cried and wailed last time for not showin up.. don't miss this one !!!

we should eventually have 2 caravans - one from the north heading to e town and one from the south.....
... i suggest that we meet on the Garden state parkway where me and ants and josh met last time....
i aint racing this time... watch out for sleeper though

I'll be coming from the jersey area. I might have 1 or 2 other cars coming w/ me. A passat and a civic. If anyone from the philly area want's to meet up, let me know. We will be coming from the Harrisburg area.

uhmmm premeet sounds good but if it's too early i may just have to meet you guys at etown... i mean, it takes like... 2 - 2.5 hrs to get there from where i live and i'm planning on a big night of drunken sex with my ex (read: rape) sat night so i don't plan on leaving TOO early heh.

Since my stillen front lip is laying on my garage floor and there is absolutely NOTHING special about my car and I have 15's and more gap between my wheels than between dougs girls teeth... is everyone gonna laugh at me? because i don't like when people laugh at me. =)

I'll go, too, if someone saves me a spot in the "stock" section. Where are the caravans departing from? I'm probably gonna be in South Jersey that weekend, if anyone is around exit 4 on the turnpike.

 

woah...where are you from..that's where the caravan i run usually gets on at...i won't be having it cause im not gonna be leaving until 11:00 or so...ill talk to the guys around here and see if i can organize something for the "on-time crew"...what year is your max and where do you live?

 

I'm living in King of Prussia now, but I grew up in Mount Laurel and my folks are still there. I've got a 98 which just hit its one month anniversary with me.

 

cool...i live in cherry hill...as far as the meet goes...Supa Lao (dex) usually comes from the King of Prussia area...hopefully he'll post here and you guys can meet up or ill talk to him and see whats up...

 

It's gonna be a LOOOOOONG drive all the way from Howell, NJ though....a whole 15 minutes...JEEEEEZ!! You guys better appreciate me showing up!! LOL.

Ok so for the pre-meet .. for anyone who doesn't know ..the pre-meet spot is the same as last time...
i think everyone will have to be coming down rt.9 to get to etown..
so take the Union hill rd exit off rt.9...
if your goin rt.9 south you'll need to go under the union hill rd overpass and take the exit directly after the bridge loop around and go over the bridge and go into the parkin lot on the right side.. not the first lot in front of the stores but the second one ...
NOTE: if you are comin down rt.9 south you could just follow me cuz i'll be goin that way ..

Rt. 9 north .. get off Union hill rd and make a right.. go into first parkin lot..

Basically the pre-meet is just a place we meet b4 to get everyone together and BS and hang out for 1/2 hour..
The we roll over to etown which is 1/2 mile down the rd..
its kool cuz we go to etown in a caravan of like 20 maxima's and we get to park next to each other once we get there..

Pre-meet time ...?????

if you wanna race you should be there early so i'm guessin a pre-meet time of
10:00 a.m. and leave to etown at 10:30 SHARP !!! i dunno let me know what you guys think ?

BTW: its $15 to watch and $30 to race..

maybe we could meet up on garden state parkway like last time except have the whole NE train meet up there courtesy of doug and delio ... depending on how this weekend goes i might come from around the CT area - if i dont go to Syracuse

 

Well, i missed this last time but didnt complain. You can count me in. Where is this premeet again? Who is racing here? I'm not planning on racing but rather watching. I've been down to E-town numerous times but this premeet area you guys have been talking about doesnt sounda familiar. Anyone around the Morristown area can give me info? Thanks!

 

Synki: the place is there... we met there last time.. it's the opposite way of etown so it very likely you've never seen it unless you went the wrong way ( which i did once)

Doug: gates open 9
that means you can get into etown and start gettin ready ..
once you get in have to have your car tech inspected..some bs..they ask stoopid ques.. don't worry..
then at the tech inspection they tell you what class your in..i.e. 4-cyl NA, 4-cyl s/c'd or turbo'd , 6-cyl NA etc..
so after you get the class your in you just wait till they call you class and tell you what lane to go in...
this goes on till 1...
the runs b4 1 are kinda practice....so you can get a feel of what your car will run..you might get 2 runs ...3 if your lucky...
no at 1 p.m. bracket eliminations start...if you don't know how brackes work let me know... i'll post it..

SO you could get there at 12 and get into eliminations but i suggest gettin there a little early to get some practice runs in...
get there at 10:30 figure you'll be done with tech by 11 and get one to two runs in ..

you should really be there earlier .. so i might make the pre-meet at 9:30 ... ANY SUGGESTIONS..???

damnit...i wanna race but im having problems with the tranny now ...i will probably fork over the race money so i can get the car in the pits and maybe we can get some decent group shots...i probably wont be there until 12 but at least ill be there.....(reference to doug )

Well, there's no way I'll be there at 10 i'm wondering though, where do you guys usually chill at etown because i'd definately like to meet up with some of you guys later... of course, i don't know what anyone looks like though!! Do you guys usually hang in one area or are you all over the place?
