Tire impressions..... BFGoodrich G-Force TA KDW!!!!!
#1
Whoa these new tires are sweeeeeeeet! First off, I have 17" 2000 SE wheels, and I replaced my Bridgeston Potenza RE92's (225/50/17) with BFGoodrich's G-Force TA KDW (235/45/17). Tire sits perfectly on the rim, no bulging sidewalls are nice and not covered with big lettering. Tread-design looks very impressive. You can even see the center section of each tire has a continuous block of rubber, these look awesome.
Now for the ride: Marginally more tire noise at highway speeds, much more responsive steering. The tires make the steering much more direct, and precise feeling. This tire really excels at steady state heavy cornering, or quick transitions. Even when loaded with 2 other passengers these tires handle really well. Very confidence inspiring!
Now the real test will be wet weather traction and handling.
I can only anticipate what it will be like in the rain, but I'm sure it will be much safer and reassuring than my Potenza RE 92's with their hydroplaning tendencies.
