I just got a Ractive aluminum braided hose cover kit and I was attempting to install it today. The problem I had was that when I tried to do the radiator hose, the coolant came gushing out. Should I just drain the radiator and then install the hoses and then refill the rad?

Also, what should I do about covering the brake lines and the vaccume lines, or should I get a professional to install them? I appreciate any advice or help.

 

kit I only did the the big radiator hose and the small one that goes to the reserve and that is all it is a real pain to install all of it....

 

Well, if some already came out, and you haven't done it in a while, flush your radiator out and at the same time, install that steel braided cover. Its always better to kill two birds with one stone.
