Granted the Legend is big and heavy it is a rather swift car.

ugh, GLE vs. 1991 Legend auto sedan....was that a race to see which 50-year-old lady could pack their groceries into their trunk the fastest? *ducks tomatoes from GLE owners*
heh...any serious performance-related comparisons between these two should focus on either the SE/GXE 5-speed vs. the 93-95 6-speed Legend coupe, or the 94-95 6-speed GS sedan (the type II engine).
In which, I think a leg coupe would walk a maxi, stock vs. stock. Leg typeII 6-speed coupe numbers are 6.3ish, and low 14s I believe.
The GS sedan would be very close, as would a 5-speed Maxi vs. an automatic coupe.
I was supposed to get a typeII 6-speed coupe, but it fell through. :/ That's the only car I would have taken over the maxi

When i had a type-1 gen 2 legend i raced an auto 4th gen maxima and we were dead even. Of course i had intake/exhaust and he was stock. So im thinking the maxima has a slight advantage stock to stock.
The sad part is that both of these cars come in stick, the type-2 legends even have a 6 speed version with 230 hp. Their good for high 14's.
A guy at my work has a 95 type-2 legend 6 speed for sale...$17,000 with under 100k miles.
