I remember seeing some fiber images hoods (not for a maxima) and I really wasn't impressed with the quality. The edges were rough, the hoods looked wavy, and it looked like it was made in a garage. Compared to a Kaminari hood, it sucked. But the Honda guys swear they're wonderful, so maybe it's just the smaller niche markets that they don't worry about the quality. The hoods I saw were for a G20 and a Camry.

Hey guys, I've said this before and I'll say it again...my friend owns BodyKits Northwest. If I can get enough serious interest, I'm sure he will make us a CF hood. I inquired about it a few months ago and he said sure. For anyone who knows him, he gets some of his hoods from FI, but I'm sure he will have one built for us - his are much better quality.
I'll find out tomorrow.

this guy Fred that i know has one on his Green 96. It looks pretty sweet in person, but the fittment was kinda bad. One side had small gaps running along the side and the other didnt. I guess it needed to be adjusted. Weight wise the thing feels like a feather compared to stock, its crazy! also where the hood meets the SMX grille there was almost 1/2" gap so he had to use black rubber door molding to fill that gap.
But overall id give the hood a 5 out of 10

I'm in the market for one, so it's either fiberimage or whatever that's available. Count me in if Bodykits northwest can make one better than fiberimage. YOu can't reuse the OEM hood struts with fiberimage. If Bodykits Northwest can, I'll buy theirs.

mine also doesnt fit evenly. one side has huge *** fender gap, the other has uneven (wide to narrow) fender gap.
