Aftermarket SIDE MARKER wiring, Need Assistance!!

I had the Z3-diamond side markers installed by a shop and wired up like the corners and stock side marker to be a constant light, not a blinker, but now i want to change it to a blinker..

My problem is that I tried following the wire in from the fender where the wires are to the corner light, but i found no wires connected anywhere??? The shop obviously did an outstanding job of hiding these wires, and i really dont want to have to run all new wire behind the tire wells and all that. Anyone know where the wire may be tapped??

And for anyone who is going to say take it back to the shop where it was installed, i am in florida and that was in jersey this summer and plus id rather not pay to have them switch out the wires, i paid to have em installed because i didnt want to mess with a drill around the fenders.

thanks all..

go back to the shop and ask them. see if they ran wires to your blinker harnesses and they are hidden well, or see if they went to your fuse box. There my be other ways that i dont know about.

Hope that helps
Matt

I tried calling them and they didn't remember, so I guess I will just have to figure something else out..

I did the same too as max4speed, always on but echo with blinkers. Just looks so much better like this. Follow the same procedure as the one for wiring your stock sidemarkers to echo with blinkers. As for finding the wire, I don't know what to say but pop your hood outside on a nice sunny day, you'll be surprised @ what you find, opposed to using a flashlight in a garage. Always works for me. Try opening your door and looking between the door opening and the fender to see if you see where the wires lead. I fed mine through the very front inside of the wheel-well through a whole which was like a foot away from the clearance lamp harness. Good luck finding it...
