Good alternative to Sprint springs?

I've been searching desperately for a set of Spring lowering springs, but haven't been able to find any ANYWHERE. So, I've given up on those, and now I need to figure out what I should get instead.

Here's what I'm looking for in a spring:
  • Good handling
  • Bigger drop than w/ H&R's or Eibachs
  • Would like to stay under $250
I've been considering the B&G's everyone's talking about, but I'm concerned that the drop isn't large enough. The drop of the Sprints seems like it's just about perfect. Thoughts/recommendations?

I gave up as well

I gave up on sprints as well I got intrax so I cut a coil off my intrax and I got one nice sweet drop 2 finger well gap that what sprint gives you I only cut my front ones. You can try drop zone springs, they run for about $140-$180 shipped. The website is www.teamdropzone.com

Yeah, looks like it's probably going to have to be the B&G's. Not quite as low as I'd like, but then again, it'll be a more comfortable ride!

Yeah, I know -- I have absolutely NO plans to cut the springs whatsoever! Simply not an option.

no not your stock springs

No I wouldnt recommend cutting your stock springs if you have aftermarket springs those you can cut. Trust me I was one scary mug but when sprint ran out of stock my patience ran out. I cut off a coil. Now that guy sprintmax he was nice enough to show me some big pics of his car dropped I got the same drop he has. Thats a nice white max.

Jay25: Well, you can do what you like. If cutting your springs worked for you, that's totally cool. But I'd rather wait a month or so for the right springs to actually be available than to cut any aftermarket springs.

In the meantime, I think I'm just going to get a rear sway bar instead!

Newbie Question:

Is it safe to use these aftermarket springs with the rest of my STOCK SE suspension ? They have 56k miles on them. Thanks

I had around 50k when I switch to Eibachs. Your stock struts won't be able to handle it for long. I was starting to bottom out and the ride was harsh. Then I put in some Tokicos. That made a huge difference in the ride quality. So far my car my car is close to 80k miles. Ride is still good. Since you already have 58k miles, might as well do the struts at the same time with your springs.
