The 2002 Forcast For Maximas by SprintMax

The year 2002 will bring faster and better looking Maximas to this world. Inspite of this, the respect of the maxima will grow and we will no longer be classes as a old person's car. The Maxima will gain new respect and will be talked about with likes of Sedans such as E55 and M5.

How is this going to happen you ask?

Well with the bravery of people such as Matthel, Kevin, Adam, Don, Matt, Thomas, Delio, Phil, Steve.. just to name a few.. Our go fast modifications are getting bigger and the cars are getting faster.

Thomas, Matt, Don:

They are showing us that the maxima with the upgrade of a $113 fuel pump will run with the likes of SupraTT's, Z32TT's and all the other cars we thought were a glimpse from behind our steering wheel.. now we are sitting right next to them and even passing them.

Kevin, Adam, Delio, Mehran, Phil, Steve:

They are showing us that no longer do we have to buy a Stillen Supercharger and run it at 6.5 PSI? phew.. whats that.. Big Kev and Brother Delio with an Intercooler is running 11 PSI instead stock boost.. and we have found out that without and intercooler even 10 PSI is safe for us to go..

Matthel, Adam, Uncle Max

they are all going forth to bring a new form of induction to the maxima.. Turbo.. and once these guys bare the pain and go through the trouble.. by mid 2002 more and more people will be taking on these projects also..

I tell you my brothers and sisters.. this maxima world will explode and it will be a great thing.. So get read to see younger guys running towards their dealers getting maximas.. soon it will no longer be every teenagers dream to get an Accord.. but the maxima will be dominant.. hold on boys.. its going to be a great ride..

higher fuel pressure from the pump allows for a richer mixture which mean you can use more NOS to lean it out

I wish adding a fuel pump could increase fuel volume, but it won't.

I found this surfing last night...

"In the second year of the new millenium, a 4 door carriage will cover 1320 feet in under 11 seconds, exceeding its limits of velocity. Coverings shining brite, its wheels on fire thru the duration."

But it will allow you to greatly increase fuel pressure above stock levels, wich intern will allow you to flow more fuel volume through stock injectors. But it does take more than just the pump to do this, the pump is just a piece of the puzzle.

sprint whenever i think your just a ****starter you come out with something deep like this that brings a tear to my eye. you always have deep thoughts about the maxima. preach on man. you have one again renewed my faith in maximas and my decision to get another one. i hate the no respect that we get in the auto world. even this months Motor Trend they are dissing the 2k2 over the TL-S. that's ****, the 6-spd is gonna tool on the TL-S. Even me in my slow car beat a gs-r PimpTegra last night coming back from deezo's. we held even till 110 then i started pulling and had him passed by 115. i was even surprised, seeing as i no longer have my y-pipe. even though my baby now bores me she still has some left to hand out a buttwhooping. Once again, preach it loud and often.

Well, Sprinty boy, you are not too far off the mark about Maxima's popularity. Last night, I was cruizing the "no-cruising" Sunset strip, and in front of Barfly (a very hip, velvet rope-type nightclub), there was valeted a 2002 Maxima SE - along with Escalades and Porsches. There were also a few dropped, clear-lensed Maximas cruising - along with quite a few cops who couldn't do jack-sh*t about people driving down the center lane since they were stuck in the right lane.
