I purchased a nose mask for my 2001 SE a few weeks ago to protect, what of heard as being, not the best paint.... Since I have black paint, I figured better safe than sorry.

Anyway, I have the hood piece on. For the life of me, I can't get the bottom piece on. It sat in the sun for hours. I've tried this a few times, but I can't get it over my front license plate bracket. Is it not supposed to fit over this? In MD, law requires both license plates.

Any help is appreciated as I've already got nicks in the front end and winter is on its way...
