OT but any of you guys know where I can get a good price on a Optima Yellow top deep cycle battery. I've only checked one place and they want $250 CAD + tax.

Rims

Anyone who needs some nice 16"x6.5" Genuine Nissan OEM rims (off 2000-2001) let me know as well? $610.00CDN (no taxes) for all four rims with either Chrome Center Cap or Flat Grey. All in excellent condition. I have a few sets available. Please email if interested since I can bring them to the meet (or Toronto) if I go and save any shipping charges.

Check the price for one of these rims at the Nissan dealership. Your getting all four for less than the price of one! Look good on any Max. And can also be used for winter rims as well. (good looking winter rims for sure!) I will wax all four rims and caps with IBIZ wax beforehand as well.

I'll see if I can come. If my dad doesnt' come back by then I'll have the car and I'll try coming..

costco: I just attempted clearing my tails with the help of ereet (ok he did most of the work..I just cut the transparent outline (which took around 3 hours to get right)). You won't be able to complete it before the meet...I suggest you do it all of Friday and Saturday.

Tempting but I'll pass, I'd hate to pay shipping on something that weighs that much from California to here not to mention the seller prob wouldn't wanna ship. Besides, I don't wanna buy something like a battery second hand just to be on the safe side. Thanks for the info though.

We Torontonian's really should get a forum of our own on the org by now. This is becoming one long thread of OT post. Not that I had anything to do with that

If you build it they will come...

Hey guys, well you've been hearing me about getting a forum of our own for the people in the GTA on the org. I decided to focus that energy (really it was bordom @ work) to create the forum myself. It's very simple to use and very similar to the org (could never compete with the org) but more local. Hope you guys all check it out and make some use of it. Here's the url: http://gtamax.cjb.net Grap your moderator positions now before they're gone

Hey .. I just visited ... but I think it's just so much more convenient to hit one site & visit forums w/i one site ... too bad Jamie won't open one up for us ... but honestly ... I don't think we warrant our own forum on this board ... not enuff of us ...

A forum for Canada on the .org would be very nice. And there are a lot of Canadians on the board. Someone should run a poll?

Yup, I agree. It is less convenient to visit two separate forums. I just wanted a forum similar to the org for us all to post local topics instead of using one long thread of off-topic post to communicate with local maxima owners. Well, it's there if anyone wants to make use of it and another maxima forum never hurts as it's more exposure. I think I managed to notify a newbie of our meet on Sat so I feel the forum is off to a good start so far. Here's the url again: http://gtamax.cjb.net
