Well, it was bound to happen to me: my car was violated (long)
Not by much. But it was. Now, a little history about my car. Anyone that has seen my car knows it's not the most pretty car in the world. I'll be honest here.
It has a really messed up bumpers, they're scratched up to hell.
I have a long key scratch that goes from the front of the car to the rear of the car.
I have several large dents.
I have 3rd gen rims on my 4th gen car.
It's beige.
It's a GXE.
Unlowered.
I haven't washed it in three weeks, and the rims are filthy. (I mean, they're 3rd gen rims for crying out loud! No offense to the 3rd gen guys.)
I don't get any looks at meets. (Although my license plate gets a few chuckles.)
So, it pretty much looks like any ordinary unmodded Maxima out there. I even painted my LED nozzles body color. (Chrome! Yuck!)
The only "pretty, look-at-me" mod I have on my car is my Nissan emblem. How is that pretty, you ask? Well, take a look:
I put red tape inside the half-moons and the lettering. (And before anyone asks - the dual exhausts are FAKE!)
So my Nissan emblem looks like one of those special Honda/Acura emblems. Unique without overstating it. And it looks good on a beige car. I got quite a few comments about the emblem.
Now, I'm taking this all in stride. Why? I'm upset a little, sure, but I got the last laugh. Some little snot-nosed punk decided to teach me a lesson or something. This ******* ripped the Nissan emblem off my car because he thought it was some special new emblem you can buy anyplace else. Cause as far as I know, only me and 1hotmax have done this. And 1hotmax debadged his car.
I wake up this morning and go outside and I see my emblem is gone. In it's place is grey glue and two red half-moons.
This dumbass rips off my emblem cause he thinks he's getting something no one else has. I bet he was real suprised when the emblem came off and the two red half moons were still stuck on the car!
It makes me laugh just thinking about it. Oh well. At least now it gives me an excuse to buy the new Nissan emblem.

i had all my emblems ripped off, and I found out exactly why. I never posted this because i didnt want people getting ideas.... 2 words, Credit Card. My friends saw the Punk, and I knew him, made him pay for all my badges and 200 bucks 
(I told him he did a lot of body damage ripping the badges)

Dang, I wish I saw who ripped off my emblem. I polished it and waxed it as soon as I got home. But if I saw who ripped my emblem off, I'd rip ... something off of him!

Well, look on the bright side... He debadged your car for you. Put that dental floss away. On another note, I walked out this morning on my way to work. It was a good morning, but cold. Got to my car and noticed that someone egged it! Sons of B**ches!!!

Well, reading your post made me feel better. Now I know I'm not the only ORG member with a crappy looking car. I've got lots of dents and scratches too. I like to pretend it's got that "Dont mess with me because I'm not afraid to run into you" look to it. But, it really just looks nasty...

dang that sucks. I did this emblem mod thing awhile back too only I did it with the front emblem (in pic) I hope nobody tried to steal mine also

Kindof reminds me of not too long ago when someone broke into my '91 celica. Broke the drivers side window and tried to take out a 5year old pioneer TAPE DECK!! But the rich part is that all they could get was the detachable face! tore up the whole dashboard, trashed the stereo and still could not get it out! HaHaHa That made me feel good. Then on top of that, they did not open the trunk to get my 2 "15's, 800watt amp, the cell phone in the glove box or the gas card in the center counsel. These/this guy was a complete dork! It still makes me feel good to know that they did not get anything.

I was just planning on asking you where you got that emblem! i thought you bought it like the honda/acura guys have their blue and red emblems....
i'm sure u can find someone who debadged their max and can give you their emblems.. no biggy. someone got jealous...

Nope, my secret is out. I used the red tape that most autoparts stores have. It's the red tape that's supposed to cover your brake light in case it breaks.
Us Maxima guys have to be creative. We can't just buy our special emblems at any store, we have to make it ourselves.
A razor and some tape does wonders.

my car was just violated in a different way tonight...Highschool football game....come back and see that someone has spit on the drivers window.. nothing bad but its there damn highschoolers
and something funny happened there too. while in the parking lot waiting to exit which takes like 20 min due to over crowded traffic jams and ppl started honking horns at me because I was next to exit and I just give them a nice loud rev and they all stopped honking
